Avene. A brand hailing from the beautiful country of France. Like a lot of brands coming from Europe, they pride themselves on their wonderful thermal water sprays and healing properties. This product right here, Hydrance Optimale Legere is a daytime moisturizer for people with normal to combination skin types with some sensitivity. This product is more a fluid than a balm. Though it does hydrate and doesn’t irritate the skin, I did find it to be sticky once applied. Now, I’ve looked into it with other people trying this product and not many other people had the same experience. I seem to be one of the rare ones who found it sticky afterwords. We have to keep in mind, our skins are all different.
I would suggest (if it’s an option) getting a sample and trying it out first. The sample should last you 2 to 4 days, and you should be able to tell if you like the texture of it by that point. Other then the stickiness, it was a nice product. Hydrating, very light on the skin, non-comedogenic (it won’t clog your pores), will give you a matte finish and even has Avene Thermal Spring Water as an ingredient to help soothe your skin. If you suffer from slight redness on your face, this could help.
Ingredient of the Day: vitamin A
Considered a good antioxidant in some of its various forms, particularly as retinol and retinyl palmitate.
